Value of Voice of .. and ?

I'm helping dispose of an estate for the widow of the deceased. He and I
were engineers at Tektronix near Portland Oregon.

Is there a 'blue book' on Altec speakers ?

There are two Voice of the Theaters and four unmounted speakers. The speakers
are model 3156. Amazingly the unmounted speakers are not damaged.

Has some cool gear I would like to get my hands, especially that eimac y-448 tube, not sure what I could use it for , but the thing looks beefy as hell....

Hi guys,

Just a comment here.
I read the post from Pete, and seeing how I am still employed at Tektronix, after 33 years, I sent him an email.
I don't know Pete, but I did know the deceased. His name was Larry. I worked with and for him for 20 years in the Tek spectrum analyzer group. In fact, Larry hired me into the engineering group. Probably the most brilliant, and down to earth engineer you could ever have met. He was a mentor to me.
He was into cars, machinery, electronics (duh) and he loved his A7's. We talked Altec all the time.
He passed 3 years ago, and my guess is the estate is finally getting around to various items he owned. And trust me, he owned a LOT of stuff.
So I'm just asking that as you inquire, I don't know what Pete's plans are, please respect the fact that this was a truly extraordinary man, and I imagine it's hard for his friends to go through this stuff even 3 years after the fact.
